Welcome to the Leeds Centre for Planetary Cores! Our research focuses on the structure, dynamics and evolution of Earth and planetary cores over timescales spanning seconds to billions of years. We combine computer simulations of processes ranging from atomic to planetary scales with mathematical modelling and work closely with international colleagues to compare these models to observations. This site contains more information about our research and team members as well as a host of (hopefully) useful outputs and resources.
